To our Parents and Visitors: Farmingdale High School will continue to be locked during school hours. No door will be left open for visitors after 7:30 a.m. All visitors to Farmingdale High School must now enter in the front of the building through the main entrance. Visitors will need to ring the doorbell and visually present an ID before a monitor will open the door. All visitors will be processed using the LobbyGuard System, sign in AND surrender a government / photo ID.
Upon signing out, your ID will be returned. Thank you for your cooperation and assistance.Please be considerate of our neighbors when parking your cars while attending the many day and evening events that occur at our school. We also ask that you be mindful of the parking signs and to please refrain from blocking any section of a driveway. Art Club will be held after school on Thursday, October 24th in Room 173.The following activities will take place after school on Tuesday, October 22nd: Carpentry Club in Room 164; JV Boys Basketball sign ups at 2:30 in Cafeteria B; and STEP Team for the basketball season in Cafeteria B as well - new and former steppers are welcome.Art Adventures will be meeting after school on Tuesday, October 22nd in Room 171. All are welcome to attend this informational meeting to see the workshops and field trips that are planned.
In November, students will be taking a trip to ZeroSpace - an immersive art installation playground in New York City and in December students will paint alongside Dagger DogVinci - the famous painting dog! Please see Ms. Rummenie in Room 171 or Ms. Capasso in Room 204 for further information if you cannot attend the meeting.Attention Juniors and Seniors - participation in Challenge Day on October 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, has opened to Juniors and Seniors. Permission slips must be completed and returned to the Main Office by Monday, October 21st. Permission slips are available in the Main Office.The following activities will take place after school on Wednesday, October 23rd: Labyrinth Literary Magazine in Room 204; and Pizza Wednesday.Any interested in running on the Girls Winter Track and Field Team should either email Coach Garvey or see Coach Cooksey in Room 273 to get the information and paperwork. You must be cleared by November 18th to run.

Please be generous and wear pink to show your support!The Student Council Class of 2022 is having a fundraiser at the Farmingdale Chipotle on Wednesday, October 23rd from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. Students can bring the flyer they received in their homeroom classes or mention the fundraiser when you pay. CHANGE IN DATE FOR THE HIGH SCHOOL'S FALL BLOOD DRIVE.Our annual Blood Drive, sponsored by The New York Blood Center and Varsity Leaders’ Club, will take place on Wednesday, November 13 th between 7:30 a.m. And 12:30 p.m. This drive is open to 16 & 17 year-old students (with parental permission slips) and 18 year-old students.
