I have a Canon iP2600 printer. I was running LM Cinammon 17.3 32bit. At first the printer would not work, but I downloaded drivers using the terminal commands;sudo add-apt-repository ppa:michael-gruz/canon-trunksudo apt-get updatesudo apt-get install cnijfilter-ip2600seriesThe printer worked fine after that. I recently upgraded to LM 18 64bit and the printer will not work. I tried using the same terminal commands, but when I enter the first line I get 'Cannot add PPA: 'This PPA does not support xenial'.' I tried adding the drivers through the configure printers menu.
The Canon iP2600 shows up in the pre-print menu, but I get an error message saying I'm missing a print filter when I try to print.Any ideas?EDIT; I went back to LM17.3 64bit. The printer works fine again.
